Jobless Graduate
So I am now a member of the jobless community. I have just graduated from college! I may not have gotten my certificate yet but still! I had my last assessment on Friday, hence the neglect of my site. :/
I have also gotten sick! Just my luck. I guess my body just hasn’t had the time to rest or get sick for a long time, and I’d just always been getting only a few hours of sleep every day.
I have had to postpone my ice skating plans with Gavin to tomorrow. 
I hope I feel better by then… if not I’ll just meet up with him to hang out.
My domain is expiring next month. I have no idea if I want to stick with this one anymore. I love the name of it and all, but it’s long and gets tiring to type. :/ I was considering changing it to eight59.net instead, it’s short and easy, plus it’s my birth time. :p What do you guys think? Some opinions would be nice. 
Also, does anyone know of a cheap and reliable domain registrar? Namecheap has gotten a tad expensive (I paid US$7.98 and now it’s US$9.29), and what with the conversion, it would be quite a bit more for me to pay.
Friends are overrated.
I say this because I’ve been crashed and burned so many times but it still hurts a lot every time. I don’t know, I always seem to be in this kind of situation. I must be cursed or something, lol.
Well, on a brighter note (and also because I don’t want to think about it now), I’m going to see Linkin Park with Gav in November! 
Will wanted to pay for me and I gave up arguing with him over it so he assumes he won. -_- Have you met a sillier boy, lol. I still love him. ^^
My sister is coming back in a couple of weeks too! I can’t wait! I’ve missed her so much. And it had been hard talking on MSN when we’re both busy. :/ But it’s going to be good! I’m so going to take her shopping, lol. I’d be having my internship around then so most probably after work or the weekends. I’m sure we’ll work something out.
The last time I mentioned that I adopted a bunch of a1 FLs from Louise, they have since been transferred over to my domain and approved by TFL.
I also talked about Snoe, but forgot to mention that she got allergic reactions to the wood shavings that I got so the moment I noticed, I quickly changed the shavings for toilet paper instead, lol. She has gotten better, but I still am going to get better bedding for the little squirt. She’s a right weirdo, this one, lol. She likes to sleep, eat, poo and pee in her wheel. -_- And she sleeps upside down, the weirdo.
I put her in that while I cleaned out her cage and whenever I do, she likes to lick the sides of the tank. -_- Like that was going to get her out of it, lol. She’s really cute though, isn’t she? She’s gotten fat-assed since I got her. LOL. 
College is still the same old, same old. Though I did feel a bit relieved today after consulting my lecturer about my AD project, lol.
It was love, wasn’t it.
I must stop apologising for not blogging. >< I hadn’t the time, or mood, to blog… :/ And I’m sure you don’t want to hear me drone on about my mundane life.
Really, nothing interesting has happened since my birthday. Everything went as planned, except for the drinking part. We were all dead tired by then so we went home after dinner instead. The following Monday, me and Lo exchanged presents because her birthday was on that Monday. Three days after mine, lol. Another friend had a birthday just two days before mine. October babies ftw! xD So come present exchange time, I realised that Lo and several of my classmates got me a hamster, lol! Instead of one baby, I now have two. ><;;
I had two talks after classes today. One was on the creative industry, while the other about internship. The first, by AdWOW!, was pretty alright, not that boring as I thought it would be, lol. The other by Dr Adam Goh, was downright boring, if I might say so… >< I’m sure he’s not a boring person, but the talk… Gosh. And not to mention the fact that I have to do a report, worth 40% of my workbook, on the talks for a module. I recorded them on my phone though, so just in case I can’t remember points, I can listen to the recordings. xD Brilliant, innit. I’m sure they’re making us do the report just so we’d turn up. ;/
I have adopted a bunch of a1 FLs from Louise, the layouts she made are all set up on my domain already. All that’s left are the members to be transferred. I’ll do that tomorrow as well.
And it’s back to college!
-le sigh- I’m going back to college again tomorrow, after four months of holidays. How crazy is that!? After all that slacking! Goodness. It’s going to be tough, but I’m sure it’ll be a good academic year. I’ll work triply hard and try and get better grades this time. It’s no longer a choice now. It’s more of a must. Subjects look good enough, as do the lecturers. No, they don’t look good, but they are good lecturers.
ANYWAY, point is, I’m STILL having mixed feelings. I want to go back, but I don’t want to. It’s all rather annoying, really. I wish I could just make up my damn mind, lol. I can’t wait to see my friends again, that’s for sure. ^^ They make college more fun than it’s supposed to be. Well, wish me luck! Haha.
Yesterday was my parents’ 22 years anniversary as well. They went for a talk in town in the early afternoon so I had time to bake brownies as a surprise before meeting them for dinner. It was my first time trying that recipe. It turned out pretty good, though a bit too sweet and sticky. I’ll be sure to reduce the sugar and butter for when my sister comes back from Melbourne in mid November. I’m just glad they were happy about it, seeing as I always manage to disappoint them in one way or the other.
In other news, UH changed servers earlier this afternoon due to some problems with the other server. Thanks to the fast work of MJZ Hosting’s Katrina. I wasn’t around when she moved it so I was pleasantly surprised. They are my first hosting company, so that definitely put them in my good books, haha.

[Edit] This morning, I got an email from TFL and I got accepted to build and manage the Acid Eyeliner fanlisting! I did a quick layout and a bunch of codes. So if you are a fan of Acid Eyeliner, an unsigned band from Sydney, Australia, do join, yeah? [/Edit]
Since the last update, I have managed to finish the fanlisting’s layout and install the management script. Took too many tries, that Enthusiast, but it worked out smoothly in the end.
Not only did I finish the fanlisting, I manually emailed all 140+ of the old members to get them to join the new FL but about 50 (or possibly more) emails didn’t get through. I’m thinking it’s because it’s been three years since I started it and people didn’t update their emails and stuff. Ah well.
Also! Geeky me, I set up a collective. Not only that, I also set up a media area. LOL. Ha, I’m surprised I actually did all that in such a short time. :p Yay me! LMAO.
I’m still adding more stuff every time because I’m still not satisfied. xD I’m very hard to please, lol!

College starts again the week after next. I have mixed feelings about it. After four months of holiday, I don’t see how enthusiastic I can be about going back. I will miss my free time! T_T But I’m also looking forward to going back and making use of my time and working my brains. All this holiday-induced brain numbness is so not good for me. I feel brain dead!
I’m hoping my timetable wouldn’t be like shit. *prays hard* Then again, year three (the final year) should have lesser classes and more projects, right? x_x I need to do well this coming academic year if I want to go even further. Let’s just hope and pray that I will achieve my dream job as a webdesigner after everything, okay? Okay. Haha.
Ah, I can hear my sister talking to my parents in the hall via video webcam. She’s been in Australia since early February for a year and a half of university. I miss that stupid girl so much, haha. We are very much alike as we are different, I think, but that’s what makes her awesome and I love her a lot. :p She’s coming back in November, before her birthday at the end of the month. Pity she’s missing mine, which is in early October, lol! But it’d be good to have her home. It’s way too quiet without her around. She’s mental, I tell you, lol! <3

The past couple of days, I’d been searching for more plugins to stuff my WP with and you can see them all here, lol. A bit too much, isn’t it? :p I’ve still got a bunch of stuff to do around here, till I’m satisfied with it because now, I’m not. xD I’d also been thinking about adding a visitor section but I’m not sure how well received that would be… What do you think?
I recently reapplied (and got accepted) for the Ben Adams fanlisting at TFL because I used to be listed on there but due to a series of unfortunate events (LOL!), my listing kept moving around to different hosts till I totally gave up doing anything about reuploading the members list onto a new fanlisting management system. Now that I’ve got my own domain, I’ve decided it needs a fresh start. So I’ll be doing up a new layout and installing a new fanlisting management system for it. That sounds like a lot of work. Meh.

Wow, my own domain. This seems rather surreal, lol. I’d always wanted my own domain, and I’ve finally got it, 5 years later. xD
Well, I’ve called it Undivided Honesty after pulling a poll, making my friends and family decide from a bunch of possible domain names. Seeing as one of my top favourite bands is Anberlin, that bunch of domain names all consisted of Anberlin lyrics.
Reyrey guessed it rather quickly. Then again, she was one of two wonderful people who got me into Anberlin. The other one is Pinky. (Of course, those aren’t their real names, they’re my nicknames for them. :p) I met them on DougiePoynter.net (RIP) and they’re so much like me that it’s scary, lol! I love them both, for being them and for introducing Anberlin to me. ♥
I guess there’s no need to explain about the layout now, haha. What better layout to open Undivided Honesty than an Anberlin one? This caused me days of headache before I found a miracle article to help me make a WordPress layout easily. Stupid me for not finding it earlier. :p
