New Change This Summer
Very soon, UndividedHonesty.net will become Eight59.net! I’m excited for this new domain name. It’s my birth time too! I know in my last post, I asked for a cheap domain registrar, but I’ve decided to just stick with Namecheap. Seems like it’s still the cheapest. I’ve tried 1&1 (cheaper than Namecheap), but apparently, they don’t accept payments from countries that aren’t in their list. Lame.
Anyway, I haven’t been updating much because I’d been reading a lot and slacking too. I’ve finished the first three books of the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton and loved it. I’m going to look for the rest of the series. I’ve also just started reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer. So far so good, I love it already. 
I’ve updated my Shelfari with a lot of books I own, have read before and am reading now. If you, like me, love reading, you should check it out, it’s a good site for keeping track of your reading. 
I’m also contemplating whether or not to go to SINGfest. It’s quite expensive, and I only really want to see 5 (New Found Glory, Simple Plan, Crowned King, Jason Mraz and Alicia Keys) out of 13 artists that will be performing on the two days. :/
Other than that, nothing much has been going on in my life. I have just started working on my resubmission of my FYP for college. Procrastination is I. 
They haven’t sent me the notification of when it’s to be handed up, so hopefully I’ll get it done in a week. I need to stop procrastinating! D:

This afternoon, me and Reyna were just hanging out online and she sent me a link, shocked that someone had actually uploaded 71 minutes of video. Upon looking further, we then found ourselves trying to help the film makers to raise money for their film production, only to realise they had already made their target (raising more than their target, even). We planned to watch the film together once it was done loading. The film that I am talking about, is called Four Eyed Monsters.
WHAT IS THE MOVIE ABOUT?
It’s about our lives. Being alone in a city, wanting to be in a relationship but feeling there are no good ways to start a connection and then breaking out of a rut, jumping feet first into something deeper and crazier than either of us expected.
You should really check it out because not only was it “nominated for two spirit awards and won the undiscovered gems Sundance Audience Award” (For more about the film, check this out.), it is also very inspiring and creative. I love how they had their dates, it made me want to try out future dates like that.
On a small side note, me and Will are over. Just a little over our ninth monthsary, we’re over. The past (more than a) week has been an upsetting one, but life goes on as usual. I have mopped about, rushed shit for assessments, got annoyed with my family over the slightest things and cried like a freaking tap that’s been left on. However, we are still on talking terms (though, I’m not sure how good that is for my emotional health) and I feel better having him to talk to than not (which I hope isn’t weird, considering people I know break contact with ex boyfriends to get over them). This is beyond fucked up, but like I said, life goes on.

So… college started again this week. It has been rather relaxing, I guess. It being the first week and not having much to do… yet, anyway. I do have some homework already though… And I’m learning some more stuff that I really like, publications wise, so that’s really good. Also learning some video related stuff, I’m excited about that too. We all got separated into our majors so we have new classes and lecturers. I like having new classmates. I love meeting new people, in general. ^^ Though, I mainly stick to two people whom I’d already known through old classmates. One of whom I got closer to after going to an FOB gig with.
Hopefully this semester would be awesome ones, though I’m sure I’d end up being very stressed along the way and not update much, haha. There are so many things that I want to do, that I already don’t have enough time to do. The supposed layout is still not finished and I’m not happy about that. :/ But I suppose, college should be put first, for the remaining 13 weeks of college. It’s the most important semester of all, seeing as I have to do my FYP. I pray I’d get awesome grades and get hired on the spot. :p
Resolutions wise, I’d already broken a few, haha. Such as, going to bed at 11pm daily so as to get enough sleep for the next day of lessons and also going to exercise at least twice a week to get fit. Ah well, I usually make them for fun anyway, because I know I’d never follow through. xD What about you guys? Broken any resolutions yet? :p
More hours in a day please.
Wow, many things have happened since I last posted! I just never had the time to put in a new entry. ><;;
Hmm, first the Linkin Park concert! It was freaking awesome! I really enjoyed myself. ^^ I’m sure Gav did too, lol. We were both singing along the whole time. Well, I know I sang along to every song. ! Everyone sang along as well! The place was sold out! It wasn’t very “mosh pit”y which I liked a lot. It was more like a karaoke session. xD <3 They were selling merch outside and I wanted to get a shirt but the one I wanted was sold out by the end of the concert. 
And I didn’t get the other shirts that were still available. :/ Instead, me and Gav got the empty CD and download code for the audio of the concert. It will be available in December. ^^ I have to say that Linkin Park delivers. <3 They are AMAZING on stage, plus Chester and Mike are funny people. xD
As for my projects, I managed to complete all of them (not like I had a choice, lol), and assessments went pretty alright. Lecturers said something along the lines of me having room for improvement for my FYP so I’m going to have to try harder next term, which I most definitely will.
Internship wise, I got two interviews, was accepted at both and decided on one to work at, haha. I started work on Monday and I have to say, the job scope wasn’t really quite as I thought. I didn’t think I’d have to deal with customers. I mean, it’s not a bad thing to deal with customers, I just have this phobia. When I worked as a part time cashier, one of my duties was to answer the phone (which is ridiculous because cashiers deal with money, not phones -rolls eyes-). Sometimes, customers would scold me when it was NOT my fault at all! Geez. Outrageous people. Other than that, internship has been quite okay. Other than the fact that I have not yet gotten enough sleep to cover the 3 days that I stayed up rushing projects… I can’t wait to get my PSP with my paycheck though! :p
Minutes to Midnight
Linkin Park with Gav tonight. I’m damn well excited, haha. BUT (argh, isn’t there always a but…) I have tons to do for assessment still. And assessment is on the 19th. We are the first class on the first day of assessment week. T_T I suppose, in a way, it is good. Although we have lesser time to complete our stuff, we would have more time to relax! Before starting our internship on the 26th of December anyway, lol.
Meh, I have to complete RCS by today because submission is tomorrow. >< I feel so stressed! I have to do as much as I can before LP, go have a hell of a time relaxing as much as I can, and then rush home to complete it. Gosh, this year is the worse, I feel more rushed than ever before! I guess it’s sort of a training before we graduate and go out to work.
Speaking of work, I have been applying to web design companies for internship, like I was saying the other time. I got a reply from one and will be going in for an interview tomorrow. Wish me luck! :p
Also, my sister is coming home tomorrow night! Even though I have lots of things to do, I will still be picking her from the airport because I promised her I would. :p I haven’t seen her since February when the family went over with her, so I’m excited to see her again. I’m definitely going shopping with her after my assessments.
Alright, I’m blabbering, so I will stop now. Back to rushing my work again! (Shh, I’m in class, haha.)
Friends are overrated.
I say this because I’ve been crashed and burned so many times but it still hurts a lot every time. I don’t know, I always seem to be in this kind of situation. I must be cursed or something, lol.
Well, on a brighter note (and also because I don’t want to think about it now), I’m going to see Linkin Park with Gav in November! Will wanted to pay for me and I gave up arguing with him over it so he assumes he won. -_- Have you met a sillier boy, lol. I still love him. ^^
My sister is coming back in a couple of weeks too! I can’t wait! I’ve missed her so much. And it had been hard talking on MSN when we’re both busy. :/ But it’s going to be good! I’m so going to take her shopping, lol. I’d be having my internship around then so most probably after work or the weekends. I’m sure we’ll work something out.
The last time I mentioned that I adopted a bunch of a1 FLs from Louise, they have since been transferred over to my domain and approved by TFL.
I also talked about Snoe, but forgot to mention that she got allergic reactions to the wood shavings that I got so the moment I noticed, I quickly changed the shavings for toilet paper instead, lol. She has gotten better, but I still am going to get better bedding for the little squirt. She’s a right weirdo, this one, lol. She likes to sleep, eat, poo and pee in her wheel. -_- And she sleeps upside down, the weirdo.
I put her in that while I cleaned out her cage and whenever I do, she likes to lick the sides of the tank. -_- Like that was going to get her out of it, lol. She’s really cute though, isn’t she? She’s gotten fat-assed since I got her. LOL.
College is still the same old, same old. Though I did feel a bit relieved today after consulting my lecturer about my AD project, lol.
SINGfest, college and an operation!?
Oh, wow. SINGfest was awesome! Cobra Starship, The Academy Is… and Gym Class Heroes played back to back so that was really awesome! Before the festival started, I managed to meet Gabe Saporta! He’s awfully nice, took pictures with and signed autographs for practically all the fans gathered around him! Before you scream, “LIES!” at me, here’s prove!

Me, JT and AJ went together, and coincidentally, the girl in front of us in the queue had actually spoken to me and JT on Last.fm! What a small world Singapore! When AJ got separated from us, me and JT had mad fun with the girl and her friend! xD I would post pictures of the festival but there are way too many and I don’t have the patience, really. :p Here’s one I absolutely love, though!
Hmm… College has been rather stressful, to say the least. Though, I think this term I’m a bit more well-behaved and have been doing my work. There are times when I’ve slacked, I admit… but I’m slowly getting there. Before you know it, I’d be handling the next term and second semester better than I ever did the last two years! LOL.
So yesterday and the day before, I’d been panicking and worrying a lot. Not because of college but because Will was going for an operation to remove a huge lump on his shoulder. It wasn’t cancerous but no one wants to take the chance, I’m sure. His operation was yesterday and he texted me when he woke up after, just to let me know he was okay. It was such a relieve, let me tell you that! I thought I was going to go crazy with all that worrying. >< I’m glad he’s fine now though.

OMGZ! I’m totally excited about tomorrow! I’m going to SINGfest! I’m mainly going for the FBR bands though, because they’re awesome. :p The FBR bands that are performing are Cobra Starship, The Academy Is… and Gym Class Heroes! I love them three, haha. Especially Cobra Starship! I’d been dreaming of the day I would see them live and just months later, I am! Eee! Totally excited! Haha.
It’s a full day affair though, from 1pm till 12am. x_x I am so going to be dead beat by then, lol! Though, I might leave earlier, seeing as I’ve got a 9am class on Friday. :/ But it’s going to be worth it! I’m meeting JT, a college mate and then we’ll meet AJ, a girl we met while at FOB. We’ll have a blast, I’m sure! ^^
I really wish the other FBR bands like Paramore and Cute Is What We Aim For would come too. xD I love them. < There’s so much to be done for every single module this term, I’m guessing it’s because it’s the final year… Torture! T_T I barely slept well the past few days that I’d been relying on coffee to keep me awake in classes. Ah well, I’ll just have to get through it, won’t I. I’m lucky enough to even be in college.
