Jobless Graduate

So I am now a member of the jobless community. I have just graduated from college! I may not have gotten my certificate yet but still! I had my last assessment on Friday, hence the neglect of my site. :/

I have also gotten sick! Just my luck. I guess my body just hasn’t had the time to rest or get sick for a long time, and I’d just always been getting only a few hours of sleep every day.

I have had to postpone my ice skating plans with Gavin to tomorrow. :( I hope I feel better by then… if not I’ll just meet up with him to hang out.

My domain is expiring next month. I have no idea if I want to stick with this one anymore. I love the name of it and all, but it’s long and gets tiring to type. :/ I was considering changing it to eight59.net instead, it’s short and easy, plus it’s my birth time. :p What do you guys think? Some opinions would be nice. :)

Also, does anyone know of a cheap and reliable domain registrar? Namecheap has gotten a tad expensive (I paid US$7.98 and now it’s US$9.29), and what with the conversion, it would be quite a bit more for me to pay. :(

Naming a blog after your birthdate is a great idea, I should’ve done it!

Welcome to the jobless community, hopefully you won’t be here for long.

I use GoDaddy.com, they haven’t failed me yet. Plus there are coupon codes for it. I can’t remember off the bat, but Google it.

I hope you feel better and land a job soon :)

P.S. I see these errors:

WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]
SELECT * FROM wp_users WHERE ID = 1 LIMIT 1

WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]
SELECT p.* FROM wp_posts AS p WHERE p.post_date ‘2008-05-19 19:14:11′ AND p.post_type = ‘post’ AND p.post_status = ‘publish’ ORDER BY p.post_date ASC LIMIT 1

Congratulations on graduating! Now you just have the tiresome process of finding a job that you actually want to spend your life doing. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you get better soon!

I like the idea for your new domain name. It’s unique and easy to remember, plus it has meaning, a double plus =)

Good luck with finding a job! ^_^

I graduated from college in 2006 but opted to take up a 2nd degree. Now I’m on a leave of absence so I guess I’m back to the unemployed graduate status. LOL.

Grats on finishing college! The jobless community isn’t all that bad. Ok. maybe it it conscidering the lack of money but at least you can relax for a while now. :)

Congrats on graduating, and I’m sure you’ll find a job soon enough! Just remember that once you are employed, you’ll pretty much spend the rest of your life ‘locked’ in it! Enjoy the time free of such restrictions!

I’ve got to say that these days getting a domain for $9-something is the normal ‘cheap’ price. You are going to be hard-pressed to find something cheaper. Perhaps you could find someone generous to pay for it! ;-)

Wow, congratulations on graduating! It shouldn’t be too hard to find a job. Good luck though~

I gave up on paying for a domain name and settled for a free one. It was easier and cheaper for me that way. (Poor college student.)
