Undivided Honesty

The Blogchive

“Great, I have herpes.”

This afternoon, me and Reyna were just hanging out online and she sent me a link, shocked that someone had actually uploaded 71 minutes of video. Upon looking further, we then found ourselves trying to help the film makers to raise money for their film production, only to realise they had already made their target (raising more than their target, even). :) We planned to watch the film together once it was done loading. The film that I am talking about, is called Four Eyed Monsters.

WHAT IS THE MOVIE ABOUT?
It’s about our lives. Being alone in a city, wanting to be in a relationship but feeling there are no good ways to start a connection and then breaking out of a rut, jumping feet first into something deeper and crazier than either of us expected.

You should really check it out because not only was it “nominated for two spirit awards and won the undiscovered gems Sundance Audience Award” (For more about the film, check this out.), it is also very inspiring and creative. I love how they had their dates, it made me want to try out future dates like that. :)

On a small side note, me and Will are over. Just a little over our ninth monthsary, we’re over. The past (more than a) week has been an upsetting one, but life goes on as usual. I have mopped about, rushed shit for assessments, got annoyed with my family over the slightest things and cried like a freaking tap that’s been left on. However, we are still on talking terms (though, I’m not sure how good that is for my emotional health) and I feel better having him to talk to than not (which I hope isn’t weird, considering people I know break contact with ex boyfriends to get over them). This is beyond fucked up, but like I said, life goes on. :)

Have fun watching the film! :D

I’m sorry to hear about the break-up. I broke up with my ex years ago and we’ve never talked or seen each other again, especially since we’re in different parts of the world… Anyway, I don’t have much bandwidth left for the month so I can’t watch that movie, but when I go back to my home country, i.e. unmetred bandwidth, I’ll watch it! :D

Aww – I’m sorry you and your sweetie broke up. Break-ups are never easy, and I think you’re more than entitled to a bit of an emotional breakdown. I think it speaks highly of you both that you’re able to remain in contact despite no longer being together as a couple. Good for you. :)

The movie sounds really interesting, I’ve never heard of it before.
Sorry to hear of your break-up. But hopefully you made the right decision. I guess it depends on your relationship with your ex on whether you should continue to be in contact with him or not… if you want to stay friends or just take a break, I think either is understanable decision.

I really like a lot of what Sundance has to over in movies. I find a lot of their movies very intelligent and in depth. I may have to check that one out as well.

Sorry to hear about your break up. I’ve been through plenty of them and I know how being dumped at 5 months feels all the way up to 3 1/2. It hurts a lot, but you’ll heal eventually :) Keep your head up, it’s o.k to talk to him as well unless you start getting too stressed.

That sucks, that you and him broke up…9 months is a long time, seeing that that’s enough time to really connect and bond…

As for talking to him, it’s going to be hard at first and it might make it impossible to get over him…but like I said, 9 months is a long time and I don’t know how serious you all were but I’m sure it was going somewhere. :hugs:

I checked the film out, it’s good. I haven’t finished it, though.
I’m so sorry about your break up. Hope you’ll feel better soon.

Uh, may I ask you something? I was just wondering, what’s your plugin for your comment mood? I have one right now but it sucks because it’s in the bottom of the post. Can you tell me? Or maybe help me? Pretty please with a cherry on top? ^^,

Well, I have seen that site but all of the download links are no longer available. Hmmm… Can you send it to me? If it’s okay? THANK YOU! :D

I don’t live in a city and I don’t want to be in a relationship so I’m not sure I’d relate to the movie. :P

Sorry about your breakup. I hope you manage. And I think that it’s good that you still talk to eachother. It’s always so sad loosing a bf completely. I wish I’d kept in touch with my exes.
