Well and Alive!

My goodness, I haven’t updated in a long while. >< Assessments was last week till the beginning of this week. I’d been mugging for so long that I took a break for the rest of the week. I finally managed to get out of the house today that wasn’t for school! It felt a bit weird though, lol. Yet it was rather nice spending time with my parents because it’d been quite some time, what with me and my mugging. LOL.

All was fine and dandy, and THEN my group mate for Research and Communication Studies reminded me that we still had other projects to do. -cue fainting- Yes… so I’m going to have to get up in about 5 hours or so to discuss the project. College is SO lame. -rolls eyes-

Wilber (my laptop as mentioned in the last post), is doing fine. :) He’s been a rather good boy. Though, I don’t know why he refuses to recognise my HP printer. :/ I’ll have to check that out another time.

A new baby in the household.

He’s called Wilber, haha. I brought him home yesterday. He’s totally round and adorable, too cute for his own good! There was no messy delivery either. Hell, there wasn’t a need for delivery at all! I’ve waited for years and now I’ve finally got him. He’s practically the very thing I needed to complete my somewhat screwed up life. I’ve got my family, my friends, William, my education, and now this little bundle of joy! And I love him. So so so much. To bits and pieces.

…okay, I talk as if Wilber is human. No, you’re wrong. Wilber is not human, and neither did I give birth to an electronic device. Wilber, my dear baby, is my brand new laptop! :D I’ve waited for so long to finally get one and now I have! Only difference is that instead of the usual whinings to my parents of, “I WANT A LAPTOPPP. T_T”, it was more, “I think I really do need one to help me with my projects.” despite the fact that I already have an awesome desktop.

Thing is, I don’t quite fancy the idea of transporting the entire desktop just so I could show my lecturers the progress of my work. Sure, I could borrow from my friends, just to show the lecturer for the moment. But if s/he wanted me to change something, I would not be able to, and that would be a week of that module gone to waste. Long story short, I’m hoping Wilber will help accelerate the progress of my projects. :p -strokes him-

Anyway, enough of all this blabbering. College has been taking up so much time, that I didn’t feel comfortable blogging. Something about feeling guilty about not doing work instead, lol! I took a bit of time to write this because I was about to go off to bed. Sometimes, rules can be bent, yeah? :p So yeah, before I fall asleep on the keyboard and have letters pressed on the side of my face tomorrow later, I’m going to bed. :)
