So, I’d been back at college for a week… For the most part, it’s alright, I suppose. As much as I’m glad to be back and actually doing something useful with my time, I still feel like it’s the holidays. I can’t seem to shake it off. Hopefully as time passes, I’ll get more used to the routine… as much as I hate routines.

I have a rather shit timetable, as I mentioned before. On Mondays, I’ve got a three hour break in between classes, and on Fridays, I have a four hour break. Such a waste of time, in my opinion, but I have no choice but to go with the flow.

And on Friday, since we had a four hour break, I suggested going to Ikea. Lo was enthusiastic about it while Shrek decided she wanted to go home since her mother was in town (she’s a foreign student). That left me and Lo. We decided to take a train and then a cab there instead of a cab all the way as that would be more expensive.

So there we were in the train station, laughing at nothing in particular and when the train came, we immediately boarded it, not checking if we were on the right one. Halfway through, and us still laughing at random stuff, Lo looked around and asked, “Where are we?” That is not one question you’d like to hear when you’re going somewhere you’re not entirely familiar with.

We looked at which train station we were at and found out, much to our amusement that we’d boarded the wrong train. Instead of going to the east, we were headed in the opposite direction! At that point, we got off at the next station, checked the station directory and boarded the train back. On the train back, we realised that we were much closer to the west Ikea than we were to the Ikea in the east. So guess what we did?

That’s right, kids, we got off and proceeded to board the train that was going in the wrong direction (which was now right since we were going to the west). The hilarity of it all! Finally, we got off and then hailed a cab to take us to Ikea. Yay us for reaching our non-destination! At least we still ended up at an Ikea outlet, lol!

We had lunch there, I absolutely love having lunch in Ikea, lol. It really is deliciously good, especially the Swedish meatballs. I’m in love with that. We also had raw salmon with mustard. Ooh, that was good. I love salmon. :p On top of that, we had fish with chive sauce. It was pretty good as well. Of course, we shared the three amongst ourselves. If we each had the three, we wouldn’t be able to finish, seeing as sharing was already a problem. xD Oh, the coffee there is really awesome too! Haha.

During lunch, we were talking and laughing like crazed idiots who ran away from IMH. We were showed to a table that was next to a couple, she was rather grumpy as me and Lo sat down, banging her bag and throwing her utensils on the table. o_O I looked at Lo as we went to get our food.

After we ate, they finished and left. Then sat a guy next to me… after a while, a lady sat opposite him. She disturbs me on a very high level. She had bought two chicken wings, and as I went to get more coffee and came back, she was sat there, tearing away at the chicken like a barbarian. I SWEAR, I’m not kidding. The guy beside me left and she was still sat there eating the chicken like she wasn’t a lady at all. We kept sneaking glances at her. She blatantly was looking at me. When she was done, she cleaned her fingers on the serviette, stood up and left. Weirdo, honestly.

We continued eating and I said I hope two cute guys would sit next to us. I then looked up and saw two not-cute-at-all guys walking towards us and I told Lo. She said I jinxed it by saying I wanted two cute guys next to us, lol! And then I noticed they sat down at a table in front. Phew. xD She said if only that Prison Break guy would sit by us. I asked what about Jonny Depp since she liked him and she said no, she preferred the Prison Break guy. xD

She thought of some really ridiculous situations and staged them. xD What if: Jonny Depp sat next to us. What she would do: Gawk at him, ask him “Would you sign my fillet?…” And since she doesn’t have a pen, “…with my fry?” ROFL! Had me laughing for ages! She was trying to drink her coffee but I couldn’t stop laughing so she was like, “Stop!” LMAOOO.

We walked around Ikea, looking at stuff. We love Ikea, haha. All in all, it was a really fun afternoon and when it was time, we made our way back to college for the next class. I wonder what we’ll do for the four hour break next Friday, lol!
